We just got some absolutely gorgeous baskets in! They came in yesterday, and we've already sold four of them! Mom has one that she's used for years, and it still looks as good as new. These are just great baskets. They are all hand-made by women in Ghana as a part of a fair trade co-operative that helps women to build businesses and earn a living for themselves.

We have more new fabrics! Isn't this batik just gorgeous? Everyone working at the store needs to make an apron to wear while they're working, and I think I'm making mine out of this :)
We got another Christmas line in! If this looks familiar, that's because we had this line last year and some of the prints have changed, and some are the same.
I think these are pretty cool. We have an awesome sample of a purse made out of one of these.
At Quilt Market, we picked up some fat quarters of Art Gallery prints by Pat Bravo. I really like them. Sorry the one picture's blurry...

Phew, we're home now! We drove for 11 hours yesterday (from 11 to 11, figure that out :)).
Here are some great pictures and fun things from the weekend:
I found the PERFECT Alpenfest quilt! Mom bought a few patterns, and we're so excited for the sample!
Dirndl Dress Shoppe by Alison Tichenor and Diane Carter
Isn't this just awesome?
There were some lunch bag samples, so, of course, they needed food to put in them :)
Isn't this just the greatest dog quilt ever?
This is a Judy Neimeyer design. I've told Mom this is what I want as a wedding quilt. Granted, I don't even have a boyfriend, actually, I've never had a boyfriend, but I know what I want for a wedding quilt!
There seems to be something wrong here...
I got to learn how to use Paintstiks at one booth. They're pretty fun :)
This is a rubber chicken, and it's signed by Ricky Tims and Alex Anderson :) Ricky and Alex were throwing them as prizes at an Accu-cut party :)
I took a "Little Birds" class, and I got to make a peacock! Mom sat in on part of the class, since she had an hour to kill before her appointment with Moda, and they let her make one too :) She hasn't had time to finish it yet.

Now that I'm not so tired, and since I wasn't able to get signed up for any classes today, I'm going to post some pictures of what we got at Sample Spree last night.
Books, patterns, thread, DVDs, scissor fobs...
We found some kits for super soft blankets. The fabric is like Minkee, only with more patterns and variations. It's super soft :)
We also got some fat quarter bundles and fruit and vegetable packs.
I got this for myself :) I've been wanting to design a pattern like this for years, and this one looks really good. The samples were very nice. I should learn a lot from this :)
Okay, now I'm off to spend the rest of the day checking out vendor booths!
I know, what's a post about Legos doing here? I'm at Quilt Market, right? Well, this post is a little out of order. It's actually from when we got here on Wednesday and went to the Mall of America. We basically just went there so we could see the Lego store, because it's pretty awesome :) Here are some pictures of the amazing models they have there. I so wish I had enough Legos (and enough time) to make one of these.
Am I a complete nerd for knowing who this is? Probably.
I love that they have big models of the old Aquaraiders sets. I grew up with these! I love them :)
Whoops, looks like the octopus caught an aquanaut.
I also love that they made large versions of the old space sets. These are my favorite space sets.
They also have a place where you can build and race cars. My car's winning here :)
