Quilts of Valor at Gaylord Quilt Guild Show

In case you weren’t able to attend the quilt show last weekend, here is what the Quilts of Valor display looked like! We hung 3 quilts with their presentation cases (pillow cases) and a little blurb explaining the purpose of QOV and our group. The quilts hung in the main hallway, which was on the way to the main entrance of the show. There were many positive comments from the viewers. Good work everyone!!

The first quilt on the left is the latest quilt that was finished. To date, we have completed 10 quilts – 3 of the snowball quilt (middle one), 2 of the string/star quilt (right quilt), 1 plaid star quilt (left one), and 4 quilts that were donated but needed borders added to bring them up to size. The 11th quilt is all pieced and awaiting quilting.
