For those of you who might be wondering if Fiona, our little traveling sheep, has seen anything interesting in Scotland lately, she did catch this amazing rainbow the other day :)

Beatrix the Bunny and the Wool Eggs
Beatrix the bunny is here for spring! She's a sample of one of our Just Another Button Company pincushion kits. They make such adorable pincushions. She's sitting in a nest of beautiful, fun, and colorful wool eggs. We have patterns and kits available for them as well.

Quiet Bunny's Many Colors
To get ready for spring, here's an adorable fabric book we recently got panels for! It's called "Quiet Bunny's Many Colors". Here are pictures of what it looks like when it's been made up. We also have a very pretty, cute, and fun companion fabric that goes with it. The book was photographed on top of it, so it's what you see in the bacground. It's a delightful spring print of flowers, bugs
and animals. The bugs and animals are well hidden, making them perfect for "I Spy".

FOR KIDS Fabric Prep
The fabric that was damaged in the flood has
been donated to making our FOR KIDS charity quilts. Several people have
helped get the fabric ready! One lady generously took it to the
laundromat to dry after the flood, another draped it all over
her house to dry, and a few more ladies just came in to take more home
fabric to wash it so it can be used to make the quilts. Lots and lots of
5 1/2" squares were cut at our first meeting, and we will start sewing
at next month's meeting, which will be on April 9th beginning at
10:00am.

Wonky Work
Have you been wanting to make something that's a little quirky and out of the box? Here are some pictures for inspiration!
First up are some houses from a recent class with Judy Stone. Looks like fun!
This first one was an example block:
And these are the student and teacher blocks from class:
Janet Wachowski's house |

Leta Male's house |
Lois Olson's house |
Mary Cope's house |

These fun stars were also made in class:
For another fun idea, here's a wonky bird:
And this is an art quilt that Judy Stone made and framed:
So much color and fun!

A Flood of Fabrics!
Due to our water damage, fabric shipments were
put on hold from mid-January to the end of February. Now, the shipments
have been released, and over 130 bolts arrived in the first week! It's
much nicer to be flooded by fabric than by water! We are quickly cutting
fat quarters and putting the bolts on the shelves. Here are just a few
pictures. Stay tuned for more!
First, this collection is Xanadu by J Weisen, a guest artist for P&B. It was printed digitally.
These are extra-wide batiks by Batavian Batiks. They would make some beautiful backings!
This adorable collection is "Woodland Friends" by Northcott and is flannel:
These are rainbow brights batiks by Benartex:
We now have more rayon batiks by Island Batiks!
More batiks by Island Batiks. These are regular cotton:
These are from the Peace and Unity line by Marcus Textiles:
Finally, this cute group is "On Track" by Jill McDonald for P&B. It also has a bolt of vehicles.
